I’m a writer and activist discussing social issues across East Asia and North America from a transnational feminist perspective, inspired by but also beyond my own transnational lived experience as a queer diaspora.
Now, I'm a student at University of Toronto. My research interests lie at the intersection of trans and queer people, (im)migrant communities, and transnational activism. I'm also interested in right-wing politics in non-Western societies.
Now, I am living in Tkaronto (known as Toronto) as a first-generation migrant settler. Tkaronto is covered under Treaty #13 and the Williams Treaties. It is the traditional territories of many First Peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. I recognise the history and sovereignty of Indigenous peoples, rather than viewing legitimacy of the "Government of Canada".
